Close to our flooded yard, (not even a five minute walk) We spotted this guy wading and yawning in the water. The kids wanted Cheryl to take them down to the walking bridge to try out their new fishing poles, but were delighted to have spotted a Hippopotomus instead.

Sorry, Keith and Cheryl, I haven't heard how the water situation is doing? Are the waters receding and the rains stopped?

The rains were actually a while ago in Angola, they just took awhile to reach us in Maun. There are a 3-4 inches of water across our yard, but none in the house. We just can't get in and out without rubber boots. We have been staying in the Flying Mission Guest Flat for about two weeks now.
